Built on a stronger tomorrow.
No-cost attic insulation for qualifying SoCalGas & SCE customers. Free estimates on drywall, taping and paint. Serving all of Southern California.
One call covers the whole shell of your home. We *insulate* the attic, *hang* and *finish* the drywall, and *paint* it ready to live in.
Walls and rooflines get insulated before anything is covered up. Batts in the walls, blown-in fill up top.
Board hung tight to the frame with proper fastener spacing, so the finish has something solid to sit on.
Level 1 through Level 5, including full skim coats for gloss paint and hard, raking light.
Interior and exterior paint to close out the job, with one crew accountable from start to finish.
On a summer afternoon an attic can pass 140°F. With a thin, packed-down layer of old insulation, that heat pushes through the ceiling into the rooms below.
Loose-fill goes in through the attic hatch by hose from the truck. It settles around joists, wiring and corners where batts leave gaps, up to R-38 or more.
The attic still gets hot. The new blanket keeps that heat up there, so rooms hold their temperature and the AC runs less.
Through utility programs, we install attic insulation at no cost to homeowners who qualify. Not sure if that's you? Call and we'll check in a few minutes.
Pop the attic hatch and hold a tape measure against the insulation. Enter the depth here to see roughly where you stand and what it would take to reach your target.
To reach R-38 you would add about 12 inches of blown-in fiberglass.
Four short chapters, from insulation in the walls to the finished room. Let it play through, or tap a chapter to jump ahead.
Friction-fit between the studs and cut around boxes and pipes, with no gaps or crushed spots before the drywall goes up.
Phone walkthroughs from recent jobs, filmed mid-finish: tape set, coats going on, ceilings and walls taped out. Tap a clip to watch it bigger.
Most jobs need more than one trade. Instead of lining up an insulator, a drywall crew and a painter, you call us once and we sequence it.
Five steps, in this order, every time. You always know what's next and who's coming.
Tell us what's going on: a hot upstairs, a remodel that needs board, a wall that needs paint.
We look at the space and measure the attic. For attic insulation, we check if you qualify as a SoCalGas or SCE customer for the no-cost utility program.
Scope, finish level, materials and price in writing before any work starts.
Most attic installs take a day. Floors are covered and dust is contained on drywall and paint jobs.
We walk it with you, fix anything on the list, and leave the site clean.
A family-run crew for insulation, drywall, finishing and paint. One call covers the whole shell of your home.
Cornerstone Building Co. is a family-run crew based in the San Gabriel Valley and led by Lewis Ramirez.
We came up in drywall and finishing, working alongside family on new builds, remodels, ADUs and repairs across Southern California. Taping and finishing is the part of the job people see every day, so we learned to take it seriously.
Along the way we started working with utility-sponsored energy programs and kept seeing the same thing in house after house: attics with a few inches of flattened insulation, and rooms that never cooled down. So we built Cornerstone to handle the whole shell in one call: insulation, drywall, finishing and paint.
We keep it simple. Show up when we say we will, put the price in writing, protect your home while we work, and walk the finished job with you before we call it done.

Quality work, professional service, attention to detail and customers who'd call us again. Here's what that means in practice.
We give you a start date and we keep it. If something changes, you hear it from us first.
Scope, finish level, materials and price go on paper before any work starts.
Floors covered, dust contained, and the job site cleaned up at the end of every day.
We walk the finished job with you and fix anything on the list before we call it done.
We're based in the SGV and take jobs all over Southern California.
Call or text. We'll set a time to come by, look at the job, and tell you plainly what it needs.

Yes, if you qualify. Through utility programs, attic insulation is installed at no cost for qualifying SoCalGas and SCE customers. Eligibility is set by the program, so call us at (323) 736-9443 and we'll check whether your home qualifies before anything is scheduled.
Most attic installs are done in a day. We run the hose in through the attic hatch, so there's no work inside your living space beyond protecting the path to the hatch.
Yes. Patches, water-damage repairs and texture matching are all welcome, along with full hangs on new builds, additions and ADUs.
Always. Scope, finish level, materials and price are in writing before any work starts.
